Hook Line and Sinker is BACK! Four stories by Bay Area artists telling stories at our new venue! The theme for this January is “Where I’m Calling From.”

Performers: Greg Dale, Folk Trio Iron Henry, Meghan Adkins and Nicole Thomas.

DJ Coppertop will be playing vinyl platters with music on them.

  • Greg Dale is a local bay area musician active since 1987. Former acts include The Night Falls, Scott Kelly and the Road Home, Greg Dale, Sorrow Town Choir, and Jill the Witch. Preparations are being made to record a new full length album in December with San Francisco’s Deep Space Trio at New, Improved Studios in Oakland.
  • Iron Henry came together out of love for harmony, hot beats, and home-grown everything. Drawing vocal inspiration from ancient music, jesus music, pop music, and more, our orchestration could be described as quirky, folky, and eclectic. Simple songs which strive to cut through your heart-bands.

  • Meghan Adkins is an artist and musician from Washington DC. Formerly of Mavis Piggott and Chaos of Birds, she has taken some time away from music to be the Associate Producer of Salad Days: A Decade of Punk in Washington DC.
She currently resides in Oakland, California.
  • Nicole Thomas is an Oakland based teacher, drummer, writer, cook, and mother. She wears lot of hats and stirs a lot of pots. She currently plays drums in the hard-mod band, Hard Left.
