Join us for the first UploadVR event focused on connecting ART and VR!
There is a separation between the art world and the virtual reality world. With programs and groups such as Tilt Brush whose aim is to bring art into this virtual dimension and show artists that there can be a unification of the two worlds we can begin to break down this barrier.
The goal of this event is to introduce emerging artists to this flourishing community and vice versa by introducing some of the leaders in this industry to the forward trends in the art community.

- Stuart Mason — “The Artist in residence program announcement”
Stuart is the artist in residence and art curator at the Upload Collective space. - Marina Berlin — “Floating World” — a wire installation inspired by Virtual Reality.
Floating World is a custom installation inspired by my time spent in virtual reality. Flying people wearing head mounted displays represent the freedom and out of body experiences that VR can bring us into. The medium I use is industrial wire mesh. It is intensely physical and emotional. Shape, movement, light and real space all play a part in creating a shadow world within the physical one.
VR Demos
4 Holodeck rooms will be showcasing different VR demos on HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Gear VR.
