Live artmaking, local vendors, and lots of fun!
This December, Root Division presents our sixth annual Misfit Toy Factory, a one night live art-making event featuring over 30 Bay Area artists.
Throughout the evening, artists will make small sculptures, handmade wares, and other giftables onsite in our gallery. These notable objects feature distinct designs that exceed what it means to create a conventional “toy.” Each artist-made item will be available for sale as they are completed, ranging in price from $20 – $60.
Presented alongside this interactive art making, Root Division’s Creative Marketplace features booths from local artists, shops and workshops specializing in Bay Area artist-made goods. This temporary marketplace offers an additional outlet to explore one-of-kind objects and directly support artists and art workers.
This unique night connects visitors to a range of local artists, art makers, and business owners.
Please join us for a night of mayhem, and making and get your holiday shopping done in style!
