First Fridays at South Pasadena Music Center & Conservatory aims to bring creative and innovative music to the community of South Pasadena on a monthly basis. Stylistically, the music crosses the spectrum from Jazz, Classical, Rock, World Music and beyond. We feature some of the finest professional musicians in Los Angeles along with the occasional touring artist. We are an all ages venue and encourage our younger members of society to take advantage of the opportunity to hear some of the best music coming out of Los Angeles today.

Join us on Friday, April 7 for aLma.MaddR’s presentation of Carl Theodor Dryer’s 1928 film, The Passion of Joan of Arc*, with a Live Original Scoring by Faculty Lounge. This performance will feature SPMCC’s very own David Aguila, whose smiling face answers your phone calls and emails, and helps you with all your scheduling needs!

We intend to challenge ourselves and the audience with social themes that reflect the climate of our generation and to effectively integrate these themes into a single dynamic force that permeates every part of the engagement.
