Jalöavisto studied at the Free Art School in 1959 and the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts from 1959 to 1964, among other things, Sam Vannin student. First solo exhibition Jalavisto kept in 1967. Jalavisto painting, photo semi-abstract paintings in which he criticized the landscape and the building structure formed by the cold urban environment. He has earned his paintings inspired by the American Pop art, but also started already in 1966 to photograph different views of the needs of his paintings. Some of his works approaches his photo-realism or photo posters and a number of paintings, there are other factors suggestive snapshots, even as the film conveyor rollers openings.

The Tischenko Gallery has been located for over 10 years in the centre of Helsinki near the Temppeliaukio Church. The Gallery organizes international exhibitions throughout the world.

We specialize in authentic tribal art and artefacts from Siberia, the Arctic Circle, the Himalayas and Oceania as well as in the works of modern and contemporary non-mainstream artists.
