Week 4 | June 19-23 | Michael Eastman

Through the use of vibrant color, textures and light, American photographer Michael Eastman creates large-scale photographs that take the viewer into scenes of natural landscapes, abandoned towns and architectural spaces. Whole Foods Market will provide free healthy snacks for all summer camps.

Grades K-1 | Budding Builders | Autumn Brown

Through the vision of contemporary artist Michael Eastman, campers will explore building and design with other budding builders. Young artists will enjoy making 3-D creations by combining painting, printmaking and much more! This camp mixes art and architecture in the most fun way!

Grades K-1 | World Tour | Taylor Knight

World travelers unite! This camp will explore architecture and beautiful spaces all across the world. They will learn about the use of color, patterns, shapes and forms and how they influence the world around us. Campers will create 2-D and 3-D original artworks that will showcase their own ideas on architecture and design!

Grades 2-4 | Intro to Creative Robotics | Angel Little

Add science to your art! Creative Robotics is a STEAM-based program that introduces the concepts of artistic engineering through simple mechanical and algorithmic exploration. Students will learn the basics of functional coding, creative designing and the If-Then-Else approach to problem solving. Campers will be able to identify with the common stages of mechanical engineering, expressions and creation mapping as well as team-based development. At week’s end, each camper will have built a LEGO Technic Getaway Racer to take home!

Grades 2-4 | Sky to Shore and Fun Galore! | Cindy Butler

Students in this camp will transform different elements from the beauties we see in nature into contemporary landscapes and abstract artworks. They will incorporate aspects of color, texture, shape and form. Fun and a variety of artistic freedom will lead young artists to create visual masterpieces.

Grades 5-6 | Mixed-Media Madness | Darra Maxwell

This camp has it all! Older campers will learn about different contemporary artists, explore a number of techniques and try their hands at acrylic paint, watercolor, chalk pastels, oil pastels and charcoal. Every student will experiment with 3-D art, collages and mosaics. On Friday, campers will go home with masterpieces of their own to show off to family and friends!
