Community Music Center welcomes the public to our Mission District Branch to try out an instrument or a class on CMC Sundays! Bring your instrument, your voice, your family, or a few friends – all are welcome! FREE!

Highlights include guitar, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, violin and piano demo lessons, a workshop for classical pianists who want to learn Jazz, Old-Time Music and Latin Jazz Jam Sessions, a vocal harmony workshop and a voyage from Blues to Doo-wop to Jazz lecture/demo.

  • 3-5PM – Fretted Instrument (guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin) Demo Lessons with Sandy Brassard
  • 4-5PM – Piano Demo Lessons with Juliet McComas
  • 4-5PM – Instrument Petting Zoo: strings, guitar, and piano
  • 4-5PM – Violin Demo Lessons with Sin-Tung Chiu
