Swear Jar Presents Angelo Moore’s Dr. Maddvibe and The Missin’ Links (Fishbone/Celebrating David Bowie 2018) and others will be performing LIVE for an Elfed Up Xmas RAGER!
Angelo Moore began his career in the early l980s as lead singer, saxophonist, and creative force behind the legendary band, Fishbone. Fishbone’s ability to blend social commentary and humor with a blazing fusion of rock, punk, funk, jazz, ska, reggae, gospel and R&B led to their recognition as one of the most notable acts in American music. After over 25 years in the biz, Moore continues his role as frontman of Fishbone. The band has released 10 full-length albums. They have created the music for movies such as “Last Action Hero” (Arnold Schwarzennager), “The Mask” (Jim Carrey) and been featured with roles in movies such as “Idlewild” (Outkast) and “I’m Gonna Get You Sucka” (Keenan Wayan). Angelo has additionally collaborated with the likes of Little Richard, Curtis Mayfield, George Clinton, Rick James and Spike Lee to name but a few.
Peligro is a punk-thrash-metal band out of Los Angeles formed and fronted by none other than D.H. Peligro.
D.H. Peligro has been an integral part of the San Francisco and Los Angeles music scenes since 1978 and proudly wears the mantle, King of Afro Punk. As a Drummer for the Dead Kennedys and Red Hot Chili Peppers, he helped bring hardcore punk onto the international scene. D.H. also beat the skins with Nailbomb featuring members of Sepultura, Fudge Tunnel, Front-Line Assembly and Neurosis. The band only performed wice yet sold over 100,000 records.
Peter DiStefano is an internationally known guitarist, songwriter, producer and composer. In 1993, as a guitarist he joined Jane’s Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Martyn LeNoble to form the alternative-rock band, Porno for Pyros. The group released their self- titled debut album that year. It reached #3, achieved gold status and included the hit single, “Pets”.
