Experience the art of Assyria through precious visual art and soulful Assyrian music, celebrating this ancient culture during the Assyrian New Year 6770. Join us for a celebration of Assyrian art and culture.
A food and wine reception at 6:00 PM will be followed by a multi-dimensional artistic event from 7:30 – 8:30 PM in Tateuchi Hall. Dr. Alda Benjamen from The Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. will explore the artwork of Assyrian artist Hānībāl Alkhāṣ, known as the father of Iranian Modern Art.
