E4TT performs works by a diverse group of ten of today’s women composers in a hybrid concert. Purchase tickets for in-person attendance or RSVP to watch online on C4NM YouTube Channel.

The highlight of the program will be the World Premiere of a COVID-delayed commissioned song cycle, “Below the Surface,” by Canadian-born, Scotland-based Call for Scores composer, Emily Doolittle (b. 1972) for soprano and piano, to texts by Bay Area poets Rachel Richardson (b. 1979) and Rella Lossy (1934-1996), along with nine other works by women composers:

Musicians: soprano Nanette McGuinness, soprano; pianist Margaret Halbig; violinist Ilana Blumberg, and cellist Abigail Monroe.

The concert will be performed at the Center for New Music for attendance in person by socially distanced, vaccinated, masked attendees. For those who are more distant, prefer not to attend in person or are unvaccinated, the concert will be live-streamed on YouTube.

E4TT’s 2021/22 home season is supported by a grant from the San Francisco Arts Commission, and sponsored, in part, by a grant from The Ross McKee Foundation.

E4TT is a fiscally sponsored affiliate of InterMusic SF, a non-profit organization dedicated to small-ensemble music in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Tax ID 94-1156610, is a non-profit organization as defined under Internal Revenue Service Code Section 501(c)3.
