Candlelit tables and wine! This is a fragrance-free event.

Alex Zeyliger has been singing and studying music since early age. His passion for Argentine tango dance lead him to the bandoneón, an instrument of German origin that found its way into Argentina and became the soul of the tango music. Alexander leads the Bay Area Community Tango Orchestra, LOFT, and plays bandoneón and sings tangos with Cuarteto Puentes.

Matt Brockwell has been playing the piano since the age of four. His passion for tango started with the dance and expanded to include also learning the music. As a pianist he loves Bach, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Gershwin, his explorations of their repertories all helped lay the groundwork for his interest in tango. Matt has been playing tango piano since 2014, first with L.O.F.T. and currently with Cuarteto Puentes.

Crystie Schum fell in love with Tango when taking CMC Faculty Scott O’Day’s CMC Tango Ensemble class in 2017. Since then she has travelled to Buenos Aires to study with many Tango piano masters. Crystie is currently a pianist, vocalist and arranger in La Orquesta Fusion Tango L.O.F.T

Naomi Kawabata started playing the violin at an early age. Interested in learning tango music, she started playing with La Orquesta Fusion Tango (LOFT) in 2016 and has been studying tango violin ever since.
