SJMA is pleased to present the upcoming exhibition “Beta Space: Trevor Paglen.” Featuring Paglen’s first sound commission There Will Come Soft Rains (2021), the artist investigates the triangulation between sound, time, and truth. The sound piece will be installed in SJMA’s historic clocktower and resounding to the streets of downtown San José. The project joins other artworks by Paglen that explore the ethics and politics of human interventions into geologic time.
