Germán López shines on the world stage as one of the most brilliant and prolific young timple players. He touches audiences with original, instrumental music honoring Canary folk music traditions, embracing of Spanish Flamenco, West African rhythms, the flourishing spirit of jazz and an innovative 21st-century approach to performing “island music.” Germán López is teaming up with guitarist Antonio Toledo to present a program that will give you a taste of the authenticity of the Canarian music, open to the world’s influences that arrive to the archipelago, always with great originality and an amazing live show, where the improvisations and the interaction of these two musicians make of each concert an authentic experience.
