Art Attack SF is excited to present a screen printing workshop with Spotlight Artist, Harumo Sato! Stop by to meet the artist and learn more about her work during this casual event. Choose from a variety of pre-made fruit designs and print your very own playful fruit creation to take home with you! Doodle a pair of eyes for extra fun!

Harumo Sato is not afraid of color! In her work, Harumo often juxtaposes vibrant hues to embrace the light-hearted feeling of playfulness and cheer— even when the subject matter embodies a dark theme. “Using colors is like living in the moment,” says Harumo. “The brightness of the color is most powerful when it is freshly paintined. Like life, it is not eternal.”

Harumo Sato is a California-based, Japanese visual artist who earned a Bachelors degree from the University at Buffalo in 2015.

The “Puku Puku Bubbles” exhibition featuring the work of Harumo Sato is on view through September 2, 2018. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Sunday, 12-8pm.
