Tune in to celebrate the “Double Vision” duo exhibition on Voss Gallery’s Instagram Live!

Voss Gallery presents “Double Vision,” a duo exhibition of New Contemporary paintings and sculptures by Tim Irani and Neddie Bakula that depicts enchanting environments and alternative realities as an escape from the modern world.

To access the virtual showing, you will need to be following @vossgallery on the Instagram.

The exhibition is on view February 6-27, 2020. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 12-6 PM or by appointment; please wear a face covering and observe social distancing. We are closely following the situation with COVID-19 via the CDC and SF Department of Public Health and will share any updates on our website, newsletter, and social media channels.

Looking for a unique in person art experience? Join us for a VIP Collectors event at the gallery on Friday, February 5, 4-8 PM to enjoy the first viewing of the exhibition in an elevated and fun environment. Tickets required; more information.

Tim Irani (b. Orange County, CA, 1989) received his degree in Architecture from the University of San Francisco before working as a mobile app interface designer. These skills, along with a strong interest in the sciences, inform his artistic practice which contains visual elements of computer-generated imagery and pop art. Irani’s post-analog art showcases a playfully distorted environment where technology and the natural world coexist in careful balance. Irani lives and works in Los Angeles.

Neddie Bakula (b. Pittsburgh, PA, 1988) is a self-taught artist based in Auburn, CA. His work seemingly allows a geometric escape from time. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Bakula explored his urban environment in search for solitude and separation from the ‘usual—translated in his work by use of pathways, windows, and doorways in a psychedelic diversion of ‘now.’

Voss Gallery’s mission is to inspire, connect and enrich lives by making the art buying process easy, accessible and fun! We’re committed to helping collectors at any stage find the perfect piece for their space with a variety of options for every budget. We work closely with our family of artists to produce dynamic solo and thematically organized group shows and socially-conscious projects to benefit the greater community. New exhibitions are presented approximately every three to four weeks and are curated with an emphasis on New Contemporary work by national emerging artists.

Voss Gallery was established in San Francisco’s Mission District in August 2019 by Ashley L. Voss.
