Juilliard trained composer, saxophonist and bandleader, Immanuel Wilkens, is a 23-year-old prodigy whose debut recording, Omega was released by Blue Note Records to critical acclaim. Having worked with his band over the last four years, Wilkins’ work has been recognized with accolades from The National Jazz Museum in Harlem to NPR’s nomination for “Best Debut Jazz Recording of 2020.” More recently in 2021 he won the LetterOne Rising Stars Jazz Award. Wilkens tours the world performing and accompanying performers as diverse as Bob Dylan and Wynton Marsalis.
