Aggregate Space Gallery is pleased to present this selection of video works from our annual open call for time-based media. For the 7th time, we intentionally chose to forgo a themed call so that a cohesive show may be discovered in the relationships between the 150 submissions. This year the works that stood out addressed non-masculine relationships with society; each of the video works that will be playing concurrently within Invulnerable Routes contains a solitary individual’s approach to a discrete existence. Whether through challenging the relationship of their body within the landscape, blurring lines between the virtual and physical world, exploring contemporary roles, or rising against traditional forces, these video works showcase awareness, empowerment, and solutions for thriving in the world.
