The Iranian American Women Foundation’s NorCal chapter invites you to mingle with our members while watching a historic light show on the Salesforce Tower celebrating Iranian American Women’s Day in California.
IAWF is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect women of Iranian heritage, celebrate their successes, reinforce their potential, and promote their contributions to their communities. In recognition of their work, Mayor Eric Garcetti declared April 27 as “Iranian American Women’s Day” in the City of Los Angeles. They have now secured proclamations from 13 cities and this day has been recognized by 17 California State Officials.
This year, IAWF is working with a team of Iranian women artists to create a poetic visual narrative to showcase and celebrate the strength and power of the Iranian American women community.
