Janine Gilbert-Carter has certainly established herself as a world class vocalist beyond the environs of the Washington Metropolitan area where she has resided since 1988. She has been touring at least once a year internationally since 2009. The Release of “My Foolish Heart” (2018) marks the 9th recording for this artist. Her sets hold primarily to some of the classic standards.
