Taking inspiration from the percussion work Shared Space, the workshop explores what it means to share space musically—from the interior of a home, to the concert hall, to outer space. Journey with the workshop as these ideas are considered both literally and figuratively.

The 2nd movement of Joel Phillip Friedman’s piece Elastic Band for Septet “Pure Happenchance” will be performed/conducting by Musician-In-Residence, Dr. Noah Getz.

Parking is available in the Katzen Garage (located under the building, off Massachusettes Ave.). Patrons may pay for parking on level 1 (P1) using their license plate number. Rates are $2 per an hour, M-F, 7am-5pm. Parking is free on weekends and weekday evenings after 5pm.

It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance. Performances often sell out quickly.
