Topics include:

  • Communicating about your music: writing bios, band blurbs, concert descriptions
  • Fundraising: grant-writing, budgeting, and project management
  • Promotion and publicity: writing press releases, pitching the media, assembling an Electronic Press Kit (EPK)
  • Creating a marketing strategy for a concert or record release
  • Plus more topics (releasing records, booking shows, touring, etc.) based on student interest

Instructor: Lisa Mezzacappa
