A curated selection of short dance films, in person and virtual
Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema is proud to be co-presenting our first ever dance film event with Martha’s Vineyard Film Society. We’ll be collaborating on limited seating in-person screenings at the Martha’s Vineyard Film Center, a virtual screening on Eventive, plus special access to bonus materials for ticket holders!
PROGRAM
This program features a couple of new films from the 2020 Sans Souci season, plus favorites from the last few, featuring diverse dancers and dance styles. Solos and ensemble work; ballet, tap, contemporary, and some dance forms yet to be named; dazzling, funny, uplifting, tender, and challenging norms — this set has a little taste of all things Sans Souci.
*Tickets are available for preorder now through Martha’s Vineyard Film Society. The virtual screening will become available for streaming on October 23, and will be available for a 2 week window, closing November 6. During that time, once you’ve made a purchase, you’ll have a week to watch the screening, and once you start watching, you’ll have 48 hours to finish.
