Yulia Fomicheva (CSMA faculty, cello) and pianist Keisuke Nakagoshi perform music from Russian-born composers Igor Stravinsky, Sergei Rachmaninov, and Nikolai Myaskovsky. Fomicheva and Nakagoshi will give a small talk about these composers during the concert.
Performance includes
- Igor Stravinsky: “Suite Italienne” arrangement for cello and piano
- Sergei Rachmaninoff: “Prelude and Oriental dance” for cello and piano
- Nikolai Myaskovsky: “Sonata No 2“ for cello and piano
