NOHSpace is the official home and office for Theatre of Yugen. After dozen years of being an itinerant troupe, Theatre of Yugen finally settled into the old Center Space in Project Artaud in 1991. NOHSpace has transformed the surrounding area opening its doors for other artists, theatre companies, educators, presenters, start-ups, and companies to use. This charming space is an intimate venue suitable for performances, special events, workshops, rehearsals, film shoots, meetings, presentations, screenings, and more. NOHSpace is now considered a central creative hub, located in the historic Project Artaud, in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission & Noe Valley District.
