Cellista & Peter Colclasure present an evening of new music that explores the borders between genres.
Featuring the Juxtapositions Chamber Ensemble, and rapper DEM ONE. ‘Border Crossings’ breaks down the barriers between genres and provides a space for artists to move freely between genres.
‘Border Crossings’ features the mixing of minimalist and experimental music. Utilizing the skills of hip hop orator DEM ONE, live-looping from composer/cellist Cellista, and the minimalist works of Peter Colclasure, the evening crosses musical borders and unearths new narratives to tell the tales of these uncertain times.
