David Puck is an young independent traditional figurative painter, primarily working in spray paint and acrylic/oil, both in studio and as public murals. His work looks at depiction of the queer and fringe – playing with the relationship between abstraction and realism, through bold colour and energetic mark-making – reflecting questions of individuality, normative culture and identity in the contemporary context.
David has been shown in and has murals in in Germany, Denmark, The UK, The Canary Islands, Nicaragua, Guatemala and USA.
Art Attack SF is an art space for contemporary work and community-minded pop-up events. The gallery features rotating exhibitions of emerging artists primarily from the Bay Area and surrounding West Coast. Established in 2012, the gallery is located in San Francisco’s vibrant Castro district.
The Castro Art Walk is every First Thursday of the month from 6-9PM. Participating locations extend their business hours to host special events and share artwork with the neighborhood. Join the art walk for a self-guided experience through the creativity of the Castro! Each venue will have many works on display and for purchase. This event is free and open to the public.
