Laurie Lewis, GRAMMY Award-winning fiddler, guitarist, singer-songwriter, will perform bluegrass and folk music. A pioneering female bluegrass performer, Laurie has paved the way for many young women today, always guided by her own love of traditional music and the styles of her heroes that came before. This evening’s program features Laurie’s original compositions and material drawn from other contemporary writers, plus favorites from Bill Monroe (the Father of Bluegrass), the Stanley Brothers, Hazel Dickens and Alice Gerrard and more.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a free community concert and seating is first-come, first-served. No advance tickets are available. CSMA requires all audience members, staff and artists to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Prior to entering Tateuchi Hall, concertgoers will be asked to provide photo ID and proof of vaccination through a QR code generated by the Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record website, or an original physical vaccination card or photograph of it.

Concertgoers who are fully vaccinated are welcome to attend concerts two weeks after they have received their final dose with proof of vaccination. Photo ID for children under 12 is not needed as long as they are accompanied by a fully vaccinated parent/guardian with a valid photo ID. Facemasks are strongly recommended inside Tateuchi Hall. Seating is limited.
