Join us for world premiere ballets performed live and streamed to you at home.
New Ballet: San Jose Dances is the inaugural live-streamed ballet production presented by the Hammer Theatre Center after their renovation to accommodate high definition, live-streamed productions! The evening will be performed in accordance to all local and state health and safety recommendations. On the program is a celebration of ballet virtuosity danced by New Ballet’s Company Dancers to an arrangement of Niccolò Paganini for cello by New Ballet Conductor Thomas Shoebotham, as well as a world premiere contemporary ballet danced to compositions by award-winning local composer Peter Colclasure and performed live for the first time by string quartet and piano.
